My trusty 4.3L S-10 saves the day again. The Citation will be moved to my house in Georgia for the remainder of the swap. A brief pit stop in North Carolina to check the tow straps.

....On the road again

The Citation arrives at my house in Atlanta, GA

A trip to the local AutoZone provides all the goodies to finish the swap

A wiring harness is retrieved from a 1987 Chevrolet Celebrity Eurosport

The 2.8L rests nicely in it's new home. This Citation will be undergoing lots of appearance modification, including sanding away the chrome on the grille and headlight bezels, removing all chrome wheel trim, and a thorough cleaning of the interior.

The Celebrity wiring harness has been installed and routed exactly as found in the A-body GM cars (Chevrolet Celebrity, Pontiac 6000, Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, Buick Century)

The power distribution center mounts perfectly on the Citation driver's side strut tower

The engine control relays mount behind the passenger's side headlight

High Pressure MPFI rated fuel hoses have been installed in place of the old Citation fuel hoses

The increased width of the 2.8L engine over the 2.5L engine caused the A/C accumulator to have to be relocated. Shown here is the new home of the newly purchased A/C accumulator

Out comes the fuel tank to install the MPFI strength fuel pump. The pump for the 2.5L engine provides only 9 to 12psi of fuel pressure. The new MPFI pump will provide the necessary 45psi.

New K&N Filter ensures the engine breathes properly

New AC Delco battery resides in the factory location

After completing the swap, it comes outside for another degreasing session.
