The Removal of the 3800 Series One SC V6 begins today
....Manuvering the 3800 Series II SC V6 out of the way
The hood has been removed and relocated INSIDE the house.....I don't really care to scratch it during the engine swap

Me disconnecting A/C hoses from rear of compressor

Radiator and cooling fans have all been removed
Removing entire braking system and struts, as they'll all be replaced with upgraded components.
After the cradle bolts were loosed, the task of getting the car into the air begins.

....About 5 more inches should do it......

This isn't the last of the Series One 3800SC. As it sits, it currently has only 30,000 miles. It will be put to use again sometime in the VERY near future <------ Hint for upcoming project
Series One on the Left, Series Two on the Right
The Series One has been removed from the 4T60E-hd transaxle, as it will be reused with the Series Two engine. The 1996 Series Two equipped Buicks used the 4T60E-hd transaxle, so it is MORE than up to task of handling the Series Two engine.
On the left, the Series One bracket is noticeably different than the Series Two's bracket (on the right)

My cousin helps me place the Series Two engine onto the Citation cradle, with it's awaiting 4T60E-hd tranny...
Into position, a little more lowering and get the mounts tightened down, and we're all done here
