The newly finished CV axles have arrived and are ready to go. Normally I use www.cvunlmited.com for my custom CV axles needs, however, I was a little anxious to get the V8 X-11 going, so I used a local company.

Driver's Side CV Axle goes in without problems

Passenger's Side CV Axle goes in without problems. Also note the newly replaced tie rod ends.

This fuel sending unit and fuel pump was retrieved from a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with the 3100SFI V6 engine. The BOSCH fuel pump, manufactured for GM, has PLENTY enough capacity to support the 4.9L V8

This exhaust down pipe was created using the OEM 92' Cadillac Deville flange and downpipe PLUS an extension with a bend from AutoZone

The X-11 is finally off it's jackstands

Ride height has decreased by approximately 1.5 to 2 inches. The automatic transaxle added the weight, as the 4.9L V8 itself is ALUMINUM and weighs the same as the OEM 2.8L V6

With all the cradle bolt FULLY tightened, the engine remains undisturbed and perfectly placed

Uh oh.....IT'S ALIVE ! ! !
