The manual shifter will be removed and replaced with the Cutlass Ciera Automatic Shifter. No modifications to the floor pan are necessary

This wiring harness triggers the REVERSE lights.  These will be moved into the engine bay to mate with the wiring on the automatic transaxle

This is the Ciera shifter installed.  The existing bolt pattern fit the shifter perfectly

I will be leaving the manual boot on the automatic shifter, as there will be LED's installed in the dash to indicate PRNDL position

The 4.9L engine package has been rolled underneath the X-11 and ready for permanent installation

Perfect fit.  Installation was a breeze from the bottom (I think I'll do this on all my FWD swaps from now on)

The 4.9L clears everything perfectly

There are no interferences from any of the 4.9L components

My specially modified cradle is shown here.  This is the passenger side transaxle mount

I see it, but I still can't believe it.  The exhaust manifolds on the V8 allow plenty of room for the stock radiator

Driver's side view of 4.9L

Overhead shot of installed 4.9L.  Clearances for changing spark plugs don't look that bad after all

Cadillac "Dress Up" attire has been applied to the 4.9L

Another Passenger side shot

Well, now comes the Power Distribution wiring (Starting and Charging), then the Interior wiring.
