Tired of the "Cheesy" Stock Citation Sealed Beams ????
Upgrade to the Hella H4 Headlight System. The difference is AMAZING.

Although they appear to be normal sealed beams from the FRONT (except for the fact that the lens is MUCH clearer) ....

Turning them around to the rear reveals a REPLACEABLE bulb, upgradeable to whatever you wish.

The H4 Kit comes with 60/55-watt Xenon bulbs

60/55-watt Xenon Bulb

These are the 60/55-watt bulbs in action @ 200 feet away. This is PLENTY enough to piss off oncoming drivers !!!!    They are about 3 times brighter than stock Citation lights.  Of course, I wanted the MAXIMUM offered though . . .

A quick trip back to the "OFF ROAD" accessory store revealed 130-watt XENON bulbs (probably banned in most states...but who cares anyhow !?!?)

These are the H4's installed in my "SS".  Notice how much more "Crystal" the lens looks.

In order to run the 130-watt Xenon bulbs properly, I designed a DUAL RELAY system, that uses the voltage from the headlight switch to power the relays ONLY. DIRECT BATTERY current is fed to the headlights thru the relays once 12-volt (+) is received from the Headlight switch. This takes an AMAZING load off the interior wiring and instrument cluster lights. One relay is for the low beams, the other for high beams.

Power is fed to the relays by a special SIDE POST BATTERY accessory adapter. This allows for STOCK battery hookup and the addition of other accessories (Fog Lamps, Amplifiers, etc.)

This is the completed Headlight Wiring System. (Loom tubing will be added once installed)

Wiring at the headlights also required upgrading to handle the additional current. I picked these up from Pep Boys.

Forced Induction Engines require a LOT of fuel when driven at WIDE OPEN THROTTLE. If adequate fuel is NOT supplied, the results can be devastating to the engine.  The NOS 15763 In-line booster pump is up to the task. It delivers 45psi (100 maximum) and 67 gallons per hour (255 liters per hour).
