This engine cradle was retrieved from a 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity.   It will be used as a "TEST BED" for fit.

Citation Mount attached to 4T60Ehd transaxle using 1992 Cadillac Deville Bracket

This is the Front, Passenger''s side mount for the 4.9L.   Cadillac used LIQUID FILLED mounts for smoothness

Needless to say, the stock cradle does NOT have provisions for a Cadillac mount (as of yet)

Cadillac Mount attached to 4.9L

I've drilled these two holes in the cradle for the Cadillac 4.9L Mount

Perfect Fit

Time to break out my trusty friend....THE DREMEL TOOL (which received quite a workout last swap)

There is not a way to access the two holes I just drilled from the BOTTOM of the cradle (as of yet)

Me and Friend "DREMEL" go into action again

Looks cooler with the lights out ! ! !

Now....I have an access hole to secure the mount to the cradle

Tada !!!!

4.9L is mounted to the cradle

This is the front transaxle mount.  The mount is STOCK for a 1982 Chevrolet Citation X-11, however, the bracket is for a 1992 Cadillac Deville 4T60Ehd

Rear Transaxle Mount

The 4.9L is resting nicely on its new home

From a "Bird's Eye" view, the 4.9L will clear the passenger's side frame rail of the X-11 by at LEAST an inch

Upon closer inspection, I find that I was right......The 4.9L is the same length as the 2.5L 4-cylinder found in some Citations
